State Officer Welcome Message
Hello Nevada FBLA,
Get ready for an exciting year planned ahead! The state officer team is looking forward to working with members, advisers, parents, administration, and teachers to have a successful year and would like to thank them for all their support and encouragement.
The year has already been set with clearly defined goals and projects. The state officers are working towards increasing membership, utilizing social media, presenting new multimedia, and creating a FBLA survival guide to send out to local chapters. Another great resource to take a note of is the newly created, Nevada FBLA blog. Be sure to visit the blog, nvfbla.wordpress.com, to find the latest news on chapter accomplishments, words of wisdom, reviews of conferences and events, and so much more! The blog is a useful tool to help keep you updated on current news in FBLA. You can also remain informed by joining Nevada FBLA's Facebook group or by following us on Twitter.
Being a member of FBLA opens up a multitude of opportunities, so take up all FBLA has to offer! You can get the chance to win amazing awards and scholarships by applying for the Business Achievement Awards, National Business Honor Roll, or the Erin Hackman Scholarship. Now this is only part of the package. Get ready to walk with Nevada FBLA through the "Gateway to Greatness" by attending conferences including the Fall Leadership Extravaganza, regional conferences, State Business Leadership Conference, and the National Leadership Conference. Attending these conferences is the ultimate way to further your experience in FBLA. As members, you get the chance to attend innovative workshops, become inspired by keynote speakers, compete in competitive events, and network with members on the state and national level. It is the most thrilling leadership experience!

I am so thankful that I get to serve on this team with my fellow state officers and we are ready for a great year ahead.
